processingjs project for special topics class
First draft of project for Special Topics class. Instead of taking the regular route and doing it in flash I decided to dive into Flex and work completely outside of the flash interface.
I had some issues setting up the flex environment but finally discovered how to set up a compiling environment in textmate. In addition I also used the Actionscript3 textmate bundle to generate a basic AS3 project to begin working with. This is definitely a prefered way of working with flash, not a huge fan of it, but its far less painful if you are developing on top of an open source sdk.
Was having some difficulty with AS3, but finally discovered I could use simple lambda expressions which made life a lot easier. After that discovery things sorted themselves out pretty quickly. Closures ftw!
